Onawa Bible Baptist Church consistently works through the Bible in a four year program.  We use the curriculum from Answers in Genesis called Answers Bible Curriculum (ABC).  ABC goes through the entire Bible in the order the events actually happened, helping it make sense. From PreK to Adults, ABC allows the whole family to learn and grow together, covering the same Sunday school lessons at the same time. ABC is filled with scripture and encourages believers in their faith, equipping them with answers for a skeptical world.   


 
 
 
 
 
 

 

     

 
11:00 AMSunday Morning Worship
Onawa Bible Baptist Church believes that the church is supposed to be the pillar and ground of the Truth.  That means that the Word of God is to the be center of all the church's faith and practice.  Every Sunday morning at 11 am, Pastor Sperling opens up the Word of God and systematically teaches through it verse-by-verse.  Come prepared to have your soul fed. 
 
 
6:30 PMSunday Evening Prayer and Bible Study
On Sunday evenings, the church comes together at 6:30 for prayer meeting.  Then at 7:00, we meet together upstairs in the small auditorium.  And just like Sunday morning, Pastor Sperling will open up the Word of God and teach through a particular passage, verse-by-verse, exposing the meaning and helping to clarify an accurate application to the lives of God's people.  Everyone is invited to come and be challenged and encouraged.

6:30 PMYouth 4 Truth
On Wednesday evenings, in the downstairs area of the church we bring in kids of all ages. We get started with songs and games. The kids are then divided and will have lessons geared for their ages.  Then we enjoy more games and a snack.

7:00 PMMidweek Service
OBBC's Thursday night evening service is much like a Sunday night service.  The church comes together in the upstairs small auditorium.  We open up the Scripture and we are taught the Word of God.  The same systematic precision of studying the Word of God, verse-by-verse is found on Thursday night midweek service.  All are welcomed!
